My name is Michael Fitch and I am the owner of Encompass Design Build. We are a full service design/build firm that offers architectural plan design and 3-D renderings. Providing what will then move the client forward with us being the general contractor for new custom homes, remodels and light commercial construction. I got my start at the University of Oklahoma where I received my Bachelors of Architecture while interning at The Benham Companies in the architecture and engineering department. After I graduated, I went to work there for another year (3 years total) before I left to attend Oklahoma City University, where I received my Masters in Business Administration. While finishing school I began work for Smith & Pickel Construction as a Project Manager overseeing various multi-million-dollar construction projects for Chesapeake Energy Corporation and American Energy Partners. Including Building 1, which was the office building on the Chesapeake campus where all of the top executives we to office in. After two years there I wanted to get back to using my design background and took a job with Christopher Lee and Co where I designed and built custom homes for almost three years. While there I had the opportunity to build and/or design homes ranging in size from 5000 square feet all the way to 16,000 square feet, and costing anywhere from just under $1 million dollars all the way to over $4 million dollars. I believe that this vast array of experiences from both architectural work to multi-million-dollar construction in both commercial and residential settings has given me a very well rounded knowledge of every aspect of the industry. It is also this experience that allows me to be able to sit at a computer working on a detailed design or an intricate budget in the morning to hooking up a trailer to my truck and hauling sheetrock to a job in the afternoon. With me, it is all just part of the job.
